Overview of your role
A Graphic Designer develops and create graphic websites, images and graphic arts. He/she is a master of many graphic skills. A core responsibility of the designer’s job is to present information in a way that is both accessible and memorable.
Your main duties and responsibilities
- Meeting clients to identify their needs and liaising regularly with them
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
- Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or accounts managers
- Demonstrating and receiving feedback
- Working with other web specialists including web developers and graphic designers
What you need to apply
- Master’s Degree (or compensating experience)
- Relevant professional experience (2 to 5 years) in Graphic Design
- Proven work experience as a web designer
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
- Fluent communication in French, Dutch and English
